Matthieu Llodra

Born in 1991, Matthieu Llodra studied music at the Conservatoire Populaire de Genève. His main projects are Jazz oriented even if he sometimes goes on stage to play Salsa, Hip-Hop or Rock. In 2009, he creates the Matthieu LLODRA Trio which becomes his main project. It is composed of Fabien Iannone on double bass and Maxence Sibille on drums. In 2011, the group wins the public prize at the Tremplin Lémanique of the Montreux Jazz Festival. The trio, rather jazz-groove oriented at the base is currently taking another direction, electronic jazz. In 2018 the trio expands and becomes a quartet. The saxophonist Arthur Donnot joins the project which is renamed KUMA. Parallel to this jazz “way of life”, Matthieu has been passionate about electronic music for a long time. In 2012, he decides to create a House Live project composed of 6 musicians. Housy Mother Funkers, covers House tracks from the 90’s mainly produced by Louie Vega, Blaze, Glenn Underground. Since May 2019, Matthieu is the new keyboardist of Stress.
