Spotted for her talents as a guitarist, singer and songwriter, Maya Delilah signed to the legendary Blue Note label at just 22. The North-Londoner’s love of music Maya Delilah’s love of music began at an early age with artists like Prince, Aretha Franklin or Stevie Wonder. After studying at the prestigious BRIT school – which saw the emergence of such icons as Amy Winehouse, Adele and FKA Twigs – Maya Delilah released her first EP in 2020, steeped in soul-pop sounds. A high-flying guitarist, she wishes to combat the stereotype of it being ‘a male instrument’.
