A highly sought-after drummer and percussionist, British artist Jas Kayser has worked with Jorja Smith, Alfa Mist, Nubya Garcia, and Lenny Kravitz—whom she joined on stage at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2024. She also leads her own versatile project, Jas Kayser & Chums, exploring jazz, afrobeat, and Latin rhythms. Her early career was enriched by formative experiences abroad, first in Boston, where she graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music, and then in Panama, immersing herself in the local scene. Back in London, she received numerous accolades, including the Jazz FM Breakthrough Act Award.
