Born in France, raised in Leipzig, and now based in Bern, singer and musician Sonia Leonne brings her solo project Aino Salto to life. With Imagine People as Adolescent Birds, a bold and conceptual debut album oscillating between bittersweet pop and jazz inflections, Sonia Leonne tackles uncomfortable themes with dark humor. Her music offers a fragile yet combative world, where irony and tenderness intertwine under complex, energetic arrangements. On stage, she is joined by drummer Eddy Sonnenschein.
