Faraj Suleiman

Palestinian composer and pianist Faraj Suleiman fuses jazz with the Arabic rhythms and melodies that shaped his childhood. After first touching a piano at the age of three, he gave his first concert just two years later. Classically trained, the virtuoso experiments with blending Eastern and Western influences, whether performing solo, in a quartet, or accompanied by an orchestra or female choir. He first appeared at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2018, releasing a Live at Montreux album from that concert, before returning in 2024.
