Baptiste “Bouli” Amstutz
Baptist “Bouli “Amstutz started playing guitar at the age of 15. Influenced by hard rock, he quickly became interested in funk, soul and hip hop music. At the age of 20, he enters the pre-professional class of the EJMA in Lausanne. In 2010, he joined the professional class of the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne. During this period, he made a name for himself among Swiss musicians and had the opportunity to play on stages such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, Cully Jazz Festival, Rock oz Arènes, Caprices Festival, Paleo Festival, Gurten Festival and abroad. He is a versatile guitarist performing in different formations with various styles (rock, pop, hip-hop, funk, jazz, afrobeat, etc.) He is currently working on his personal project, “babastutz”. He is also active in the studio, recording for various Swiss and international bands, producers or composers.
