Djamal Moumène is a guitarist with algerian-peruvian roots who studied guitar at Zürcher Hochschule der Künste. Amongst his teachers were Lionel Loueke, Dave Gisler, Chris Wiesendanger and many more. He plays, writes and sings in his own projects like waters blend and mu:n but is also playing electric and acoustic guitar as a sideman with Tobias Jensen, Tanya Barany, a l t g l a s, Tshanda, Poly Augustine and many more. His love of music ranges from Radiohead to John Coltrane to Kanye West to Bon Iver and much further.
