“Be free. Be kind.” This is the philosophy of Sara and Nina, the duo behind Freekind. Based in Slovenia, they met through their shared love of R&B, hip-hop, and soul music. Their journey began in 2020 with their first singles and well-received EPs, opening doors to major festivals like Reeperbahn, Eurosonic, and Sziget. In 2024, they won big at the MME Awards (Music Moves Europe Awards) and made it onto KEXP’s list of the best albums of the year.
