A classically trained pianist with a delicate touch, as well as a singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and producer of her own albums, Macha Gharibian began creating her unique musical world during her time in New York. Her sound is influenced by her three cultural backgrounds: her Armenian heritage, her Parisian roots, and her time in New York. Gharibian’s personal and multicultural style places her in the realm of unclassifiable music, blending Eastern jazz, neo-classical elements, and adventurous pop. A musical legacy inherited from her father, a guitarist and singer from the band Bratsch. She first performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2021, where she presented her trio album Joy Ascension, which earned her the Revelation award at the Victoires du Jazz.
