Mel D
Grisons-born artist Melanie Danuser first made waves during the Montreux Jazz Festival’s residency in 2021 with her electro-pop duo Mischgewebe. She returns with a completely different project, entirely acoustic, under the name Mel D. To date, only two tracks are available, including her debut single, “Bring the Witches Back,” a magnificent ode to witchcraft, divided into two parts connected by an instrumental interlude. Recorded between Zurich and Paris with Dino Brandão and Renaud Letang (Feist, Chilly Gonzales), her debut album will be released on the day of her Montreux concert.
