MATTERS UNKNOWN is the latest project from British composer and multi-instrumentalist Jonathan Enser. He gained substantial musical experience by joining the renowned Nubiyan Twist collective. The reputation he built there allowed him to gather some of the country’s best musicians for his album We Aren’t Just, released in 2022. His diverse music encompasses Afro-jazz, celestial blues, soul-funk, hip-hop, and electro. Growing up in the British countryside, he draws inspiration from both his country’s rural traditions and his travels to Cuba and New Orleans, seeking authentic cultural immersion. On stage, he will be joined by Rosie Turton, Matthew Davies, Lyle Barton, and Alec Hewes.
