Jasmine Myra

Praised by Jamie Cullum and Gilles Peterson, Jasmine Myra is a saxophonist, composer and bandleader based in Leeds, England. Her original instrumental music has a euphoric and uplifting sound, influenced by artists as diverse as Bonobo, Ólafur Arnalds and Kenny Wheeler, artists whose music shares an emotive quality that you can also hear in Myra’s own compositions. Recently signed to Gondwana Records, she collaborates with producer Matthew Halsall, whose credits include GoGo Penguin and Mammal Hands. Her debut album, Horizons, was released in July 2022.
