The five musicians in muralim, who met while studying jazz at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste, create a progressive jazz sound that’s hard to resist. Catchy melodies, boundless energy and grooves that grab you by the gut: the pleasure they get from playing together sparkles and is felt from the very first notes. All are very active on the Zurich scene. For example, Mauro Reimann, saxophonist and leader of the project, performed this summer at the Montreux Jazz Festival on the Super Bock Stage alongside Naomi Lareine, and pianist Tim Bond accompanies singer Priya Ragu, who appeared at the Festival in 2021
