The Foundation celebrated its 15th anniversary in style!

The 3rd edition of the Autumn of Music festival offered artists and music lovers four intense days of sharing, discovery and creativity. The event organised by the Montreux Jazz Artists Foundation was more popular than ever, with a record attendance during the weekend jam sessions.

The Montreux Jazz Artists Foundation celebrated its 15th anniversary in the most beautiful way during Autumn of Music. More than fifty musicians, including several long-time friends of the Foundation, were able to meet and exchange privileged moments on stage and backstage. Many of them expressed the unique feeling of belonging to a big family, having experienced together unforgettable encounters and memories, made possible by the Foundation.

MONTREUX JAZZ ACADEMY

A FASCINATING CLOSING CONCERT

The seven young musicians of the Montreux Jazz Academy had an intense week, under the guidance of their musical directors and mentors Gilles PetersonChelsea Carmichael, Soweto KinchChico Freeman and Gonzalo Rubalcaba. Together, they gave a concert of almost an hour and a half on Saturday night, including two tracks composed during their residency in Montreux.
